Project Summary:
The Problem
A platform is needed for individuals with limited time to dedicate to cooking, and who require quick and simple recipes for their daily/weekly menus
The Goal
Design a user-friendly, responsive website where users can view cooking tutorial videos and create lists to save their favorites
My Role and Responsibilities:
As a UX UI designer I was able to conduct interviews, create paper and digital sketches, develop low and high-fidelity prototypes, conduct usability studies, consider accessibility, iterate on designs, and create responsive interfaces.
User Research: Pain Points.
1- Limited Actions: Most cooking tutorial websites lack the capability to create a user account where one can customize favorite videos or freely create playlists
2- Inefficient Search: Most search engines on these pages lack a coherent selection of filters to help streamline the search process and make it less overwhelming.
3- Defficient Experience: Cooking tutorial and recipe websites lack an engaging and enjoyable user experience.
User Research: User Persona.
Problem Statement: Rebecca is a Junior Lighting Assistant who needs simple and quick recipes to cook at home and take to work. As a recent graduate, she can't afford to eat out all the time and spends her entire day either at work or with friends.

Usability Study: Main Findings
1- Limited Filters: Several users suggested that certain filters were missing, which would make their search for specific recipes more effective. Suggestions were provided
Solution 1: One of the implemented changes was the addition of filters to enhance search efficiency and accuracy.
2- No Enough Collections: Some users felt dissatisfied with the number of recipe collections available. Suggestions were provided.
Solution 2: To increase the effectiveness of finding specific recipes, collections were added.
